When you access our website, we process technical connection data transmitted by your browser to the server. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, files and pages requested, the volume of data transferred, status messages, the previously visited page, and information about your browser and operating system.
We process these data to deliver the website, enable stable and secure operation, and investigate technical faults or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of our online services.
Hosting provider and recipient of technical data: this website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
IONOS processes website visitors' technical data, particularly IP addresses or anonymised IP addresses, browser information, operating system, pages or files requested, and access times. These data are processed, among other purposes, to provide the website securely and reliably.
The recipient of the technical data is IONOS SE as the technical hosting provider. Server locations may vary depending on the product and configuration selected; the information in your IONOS contract or IONOS customer account is decisive.
Where IONOS processes personal data on your behalf, this takes place under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
Server log retention: IONOS generally stores server log files for up to eight weeks and then deletes them. Longer retention only occurs where necessary to investigate specific security incidents, meet statutory retention obligations or pursue legal claims.
[IF THE HOSTING PROVIDER PROCESSES DATA OUTSIDE THE EEA: ADD THE COUNTRIES, RECIPIENTS AND SPECIFIC TRANSFER BASIS PURSUANT TO ARTICLES 44 ET SEQ. GDPR.]
When you contact us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, telephone number, email address, enquiry, preferred appointment and vehicle details. During a call, we process the conversation content needed to handle your enquiry; recording calls is not part of the contact process offered.
We use this information to handle your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange appointments and, where applicable, perform a contract. For contract-related enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest is appropriate communication with you.
Our telecommunications and email providers may receive data for technical transmission and storage. Email provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Where IONOS processes personal data on our behalf, it does so under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
Our WhatsApp buttons are simple external links. No WhatsApp chat widget is embedded on the website. Merely visiting our website does not establish a connection to WhatsApp through these links. Activating a link opens a WhatsApp service, where your IP address and browser or device data may be processed.
When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive, in particular, your telephone number, any visible profile name, your messages, and images or location details you send. We use these data only as necessary to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, perform a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps or a contract; for other communication, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our interest in providing a practical contact option you have chosen.
The provider in the European Economic Area is WhatsApp Ireland Limited. WhatsApp also processes data for its own purposes. According to the provider's information, data may be processed internationally, particularly in the USA. Details of recipients, transfer mechanisms and data subject rights are available in WhatsApp's privacy information. This is separate from our own processing of your enquiry.
Using WhatsApp is optional. You can also contact us by email or telephone. Please send only the information necessary to handle your enquiry. Arrange the transmission of particularly confidential documents with us in advance.
To advise on and handle tyre, wheel and towing orders, we may process vehicle models, registration numbers, wheel and tyre sizes, vehicle identification details provided, photographs of the vehicle's condition, and order, payment and invoice data. Towing enquiries also involve location, contact availability, vehicle condition and the intended destination.
Where possible, photograph only the relevant vehicle parts and avoid unnecessary images of uninvolved people. Processing to prepare and perform the order is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Statutory retention and documentation are based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Where condition records are necessary to clarify damage claims, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our interest in pursuing justified claims or defending against unjustified ones.
Information required to perform the contract may be shared with transport partners, workshops, suppliers or payment providers actually involved. Insurers, roadside assistance providers or other third parties receive order-related information only where necessary for the agreed arrangements or otherwise legally permitted. Tax advisers and authorities may also receive data under statutory obligations.
A service enquiry alone does not authorise us to publish your vehicle photographs for advertising. This would require a separate legal basis.
The website currently prepared does not use analytics or advertising trackers, marketing cookies or social media plug-ins added by us. Fonts, images and files required for display and navigation are delivered locally with the website. No contact form collecting data on the server is integrated.
Where technically necessary storage of or access to information on your device takes place during subsequent operation, the requirements of section 25(2) TDDDG apply. Storage or access that is not necessary generally requires prior consent under section 25(1) TDDDG. Any resulting processing of personal data also requires a legal basis under the GDPR.
The directions link leads to an external Google Maps service. No interactive Google map is embedded on our website. The external page opens only when you follow the link; its provider may then process technical usage data. Further processing is governed by the privacy information of the service you access.
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for its purpose, required by statutory retention periods, or necessary to pursue or defend claims. The data are then deleted or, where a legal obligation prevents immediate deletion, their processing is restricted.
Enquiries without an order: contractual records, business correspondence and accounting documents are subject to the applicable commercial and tax retention periods. WhatsApp message content is deleted after necessary information has been transferred to the order documentation, once it is no longer needed there and no legal retention grounds remain.
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Right to object: where we process data under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time without giving reasons. To exercise your rights, contact info@mm-felgen.de.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. For a business in North Rhine-Westphalia, the relevant authority may in particular be the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW): Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf; email: poststelle@ldi.nrw.de; website: www.ldi.nrw.de.
No registration is required to use this information website. Providing information when contacting us is voluntary. However, without the vehicle, contact or location details needed for a quote or order, we may be unable to handle your enquiry. The website and contact process described do not involve solely automated decisions producing legal effects or similarly significantly affecting you, including such profiling.
